Welcome to Rotten Luck of Moon Guard

We are a guild of friends here to play World of Warcraft for fun. We have quite a few experienced players and are looking for more as we move into raiding. We're a mostly mature group - some with families.

While we are open to people of all ages we do want to maintain a mature setting. Currently, Rotten Luck is looking for experienced and/or committed players for end-game raid content. While we can usually make room for frienly players of all levels, it should be understood that Rotten Luck is not a leveling guild here solely to help players level up. Those wishing to apply should be at least level 75, and be committed to learning how to best play their class/role for contribution to the overall raid.

If you are a current member in game it is important that you use the Apply to Guild link above and when the site asks you if you "wish to become a member of this guild" make that selection.  I realize it can be a tad confusing since you are already a member in game, but you must remember that this site is in no way connected with WoW - it has no idea who you are much less that you are a member of Rotten Luck.

New Website Requirement

We are asking that all Rotten Raiders use the website to maintain their characters. If you haven't signed up on the site yet please take a moment to sign up. Haagen can typically get you approved pretty quickly. If you're signing up from another guild simply include your guild name on the application.

Once you've signed in go to the Guild Roster link on the left. If it isn't already selected, go to the Characters tab. First look to see if your character is listed. If so it may have a link to the right that says "claim". Click that link to claim the character as your own. Haagen was able to do an import from the Armory so your character is probably there.

If you don't see your character there is a link at the bottom to "Add Character to Rotten Luck" Click that link and fill out the short form. Give your name, race, class, specs (1 and 2) (Yes! Dual spec is supported!)

Characters will be necessary (mandatory) very soon so don't delay do it today! If you have questions you can A) ask in game B) shoot me an email here on the website - I'll get it at work! C) Ask your question in the member forum.

Also, if you are a member on the site make sure you have at least one character created from the guild or an ally. As of May 24th I will remove all members who do not have a character associated.

Rotten Naxx 25 Update

Rotten Luck has been working rather hard. Last weekend we had our first full clear of Naxx 25. And then this weekend we had our first full clear using only 2 nights. Friday night we cleared all 4 quarters and on Saturday we marched in and cleared the Frostwyrm quarter. From there we moved on to Eye of Eternity for some practice runs. I believe we surprised even ourselves. While we only had time for about 4 attempts, we made clear progress on each attempt. On the 4th attempt we made it to phase 3 with about 2 min left on the enrage timer. To show just how surprised we were, once we moved to phase three it was an almost instant wipe as very few people had any idea of what was going to happen in that phase. We hadn't read up on it. I must admit that it had been a long time since I read up on it.

All in All - Rotten Luck and friends has been doing awsome. We've been a great example of just what progression means. Now we must maintain.

Rotten Naxx 25

Last weekend Rotten Luck hosted our first 25 man Naxxramas. It was a rough start at first, but once we got our tanks squared away we proceeded to clear 2 quarters - Arachnid and Plauge. Patchwerk presented a bit of trouble, but I am confident if everyone continues to work on their toons to improve their DPS we can do it.

Remember, the Naxx 25 run is on the calendar each week - Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm.
